Accommodations

The Dahlonega Inn on Main has seven bedrooms that include a hearty continental breakfast with your stay, served in the dining room with a fire in the cold months or on the patio on the warmer days. All bedrooms are equipped with a private bath. Three of the rooms have fireplaces. You will enjoy quality amenities including luxurious towels and linens, free wi-fi, smart TVs, on-site parking, and more.

The common inside spaces available to all guests include:

  • Living room with fireplace and TV

  • Dining room with an antique pecan 14-foot table, coffee bar and mini fridge with water

  • Half bath off of the living room

You can also take advantage of the rocking chairs on the porches overlooking the North Georgia Price Memorial Hall and to the left you will see Holly Theater and the Dahlonega Square. You can also enjoy the patio area on the south side of the house with a large gas fireplace and plenty of tables and chairs or relax in the gazebo in the courtyard to the north side of the house.

The Worley Room

Named after Captain William Jasper Worley whose family lived in the home from just after the Civil War until the early 1900s. This room has the following features:

  • Private bathroom with shower/bathtub

  • King bed

  • Original heart pine flooring, fireplace, and doors

  • Two armchairs available to pull up and watch TV or enjoy the fire

  • Three bright windows looking out to the wooded park area of the North Georgia campus and the gold dome of the Georgia Price Memorial Hall

  • Easy access to the front porch and the other outside patio and courtyard; also directly across the hall from the living room

The Dogwood Room

Named after the huge dogwood tree the room overlooks on the patio side of the house. This room has the following features:

  • Private bathroom with a vintage claw foot tub with a shower

  • Queen bed

  • Original heart pine flooring, fireplace, and doors

  • Two armchairs to pull up, watch TV, or enjoy the fire

  • Two bright windows looking out to the wooded park area of the North Georgia campus

  • On the second floor on the front north side of the house

  • Directly outside is the door to the full 2nd-floor deck, where you can enjoy the rocking chairs and see Holly Theater, a wooded park, and the gold dome of the Georgia Price Memorial Hall

  • A locked adjoining door with the Orvis room, should you wish to be close to others in your party

The Holly Room

It is named after the Holly Theater as it overlooks the theater built in 1948. This room has the following features:

  • Private bathroom with a vintage claw foot tub with a shower

  • Queen bed

  • Original heart pine flooring, fireplace, and doors

  • Two armchairs to pull up, watch TV, or enjoy the fire

  • Two bright windows looking out to the theater and the wooded park area of the North Georgia campus

  • On the second floor on the front north side of the house

  • Directly outside is the door to the full 2nd-floor deck, where you can enjoy the rocking chairs and see Holly Theater, a wooded park, and the gold dome of the Georgia Price Memorial Hall

  • A locked adjoining door with the Appalachian room, should you wish to be close to others in your party.

The Orvis Room

For those who enjoy the great outdoors, this room is themed after the many outdoor sports in North Georgia. This room has the following features:

  • Private bathroom with a standup shower

  • King bed

  • Original heart pine flooring

  • An armchair to relax and watch TV

  • Room overlooks the patio

  • On the second floor on the back, north side of the house

  • Just down the hall is the door to the full 2nd-floor deck where you can enjoy the rocking chairs and see Dahlonega Square and wooded park and the gold dome of the Georgia Price Memorial Hall

  • A locked adjoining door with the Dogwood room, should you wish to be close to others in your party.

The Appalachian Room

The Appalachian Room is named after the great Appalachian Mountains, the oldest mountain chain in the US. Just 15 miles away is an access point for the Appalachian Trail. This room has the following features:

  • Private bathroom with a standup shower

  • King bed

  • Original heart pine flooring

  • An armchair to relax and watch TV

  • Room overlooks the courtyard

  • Room is on the second floor on the back, south side of the house

  • Just down the hall is the door to the full 2nd-floor deck where you can enjoy the rocking chairs and see the Holly Theater, a wooded park, and the gold dome of the Georgia Price Memorial Hall

  • A locked adjoining door with the Holly room, should you wish to be close to others in your party.

The Vineyard Room

This room is named after the many popular vineyards that have developed in North Georgia and we hope visiting a few of them is a part of your visit. This room has the following features:

  • Private bathroom with a standup shower

  • Queen bed

  • Original heart pine flooring

  • An armchair to relax and watch TV

  • Room overlooks the courtyard with two bright windows

  • Room is on the first floor on the back, south side of the house just past the kitchen and dining room so close to the coffee/tea bar

The Colonial Room

The Colonial Room is named after the style of this 1800s home. This room has the following features:

  • Private bathroom with a shower/tub unit

  • Queen bed

  • Original heart pine flooring

  • An armchair and ottoman to relax and watch TV.

  • Room is on the first floor on the back, south side of the house just past the kitchen and dining room so close to the coffee/tea bar
