Dahlonega Inn on Main
Bed & Breakfast and Chestnut Cottage
A historic home in the heart of Dahlonega
About the Inn
Dahlonega is located just one hour away from Atlanta, making it the perfect weekend getaway location.
Dahlonega Inn on Main is located 1 block west of the Holly Theater and 2 blocks from the center of the Square in downtown Dahlonega (see photo below), where you have the arts, quaint shops, and locally owned restaurants. Immediately across the street is the University of North Georgia’s Price Memorial Hall. We are also just an 8 min walk to UNG’s baseball and soccer fields.
The colonial Inn itself dates back to 1846 and has all the original heart pine wood floors and original fireplaces, as well as many other vintage touches throughout. In addition to your own bedroom and bath (three with fireplaces), we encourage you to enjoy the common areas: living room with fireplace and dining room where we will host a hearty breakfast, as well as two large outdoor spaces and two decks with rocking chairs.
The proximity to the Square makes it one of the best places to stay in Dahlonega, while still just a short distance to Ellijay, Cleveland and Helen!
About Chestnut Cottage
